Tiana turned to see who had called her name. “LOTTIE! Hey gurl!” Tiana walked up and hugged her best friend. They hadn’t seen each other in a while, Tiana being busy with the restaurant and all. “How are you hun? What have you been up to? Tell me everything!”
“Nothing has really happened since you’ve been away.” Lottie stopped to think, “well, except Big Daddy missing your cooking. I tried once and made him sick now I’m not allowed near a gumbo pot.
“But Tia! You’ve got your restaurant and your prince!” she tried to hide her jealousy at the last bit. “And I missed you terribly!”Tiana laughed, “wel tell your daddy that he doesn’t have to worry about anything. He can stop by anytime for a nice bowl of gumbo!” Tiana listened to her friend hearing the sigh in her voice as she said ‘prince’. She knew that Lottie had been looking for love for a long time, since they were lil girls in fact. Tiana encouraged Lottie while giving her a squeeze. “Your ‘prince’ will come Lottie, you just have to give it time. Love happens when it feels like it, not when you want it to and definitely not by wishing on a star. You know, maybe you should go on a blind date or speed dating or sumthn! I bet it would be tons of fun!”
Carlotte giggled, “I need to find a girl with some lovely royal friends-
a girl who ain’t you.”“Well who else would it be? Besides i DO have royal friends…I just haven’t met them yet seeing as they’re way over in Maldonia! Anyway, I’m sure your daddy knows some eligible young mew who are just right for you. What about that boy who asked you to dance at the Ball a while ago? He seemed to really like you Lottie dear. Maybe you should drop him a line?”
“Travis? Really, honey?” Lottie sighed, “but he’s so- Hes so Travis. A girl can’t find fairy tale love with a guy named Travis!” She looked at Tia and smiled, “Plus he can’t dance like a prince.” She giggled, “but I guess I’ve never REALLY danced with a prince! Unless Naveen’s baby brother counts.”
Tiana rolled here eyes. “Sweetie you don’t know if Travis can dance or not! You never gave the poor boy a chance!! *smirk* But if you want a prince, well you just hold on and wait it out honey gurl! I just hope you know your prince may not be a prince at all. He could be a handsome theif, a cowboy, a doctor
or a boy named Travis!Either way you’ll find him, I’m sure of that!”
“Well enough talking about my non love life. How is Naveen? Hows your restaurant? Is it opened yet? When do I get to meet your friend Louis?”
